A Stardance Summer by Emily March is a contemporary romance book. It’s the 13th book in the Eternity Springs series, but it can be read as a stand-alone, though it’s advised to read the previous books. It was my first book of this authoress and I loved it.

Liliana is an almost 30 years old woman who, after being framed for DUI because of finding out something she shouldn’t have had at work, decides to join the Tornado Alleycats. a group of only women, most of them old, led by Patsy, a friend of the protagonist.

She goes with them camping, but soon finds out that Eternity Spring’s camp owner is Brick Callahan, her brother’s high school best friend and her first crush.

I really liked this book, it was full of funny moments, hilarious comments and easily loveable characters. Eternity Spring seems like the perfect town, where everyone knows everyone, love blooms and, while reading the book, there was always a smile pictured on my face.

Liliana is a woman who wants to live more, to have more experiences, and not doing only what her parents want. The only problem, as you may have noticed, is that I think she was too attached to her parents for someone of her age.

Brick can’t believe his eyes when he sees Liliana for the first time after so many years. He now has two families and can’t stop himself from being attracted to his best friend’s younger sister. I loved his relationship with both his parents and his relationship with Celeste who is an important character in all the Eternity Springs series’ books. He’s liable, loves his family and helps his foster brother.

Another character I loved was Patsy, the leader of the Tornado Alleycats. She’s like a mother to everyone in her group and her relationship with Liliana was like that of a mother with her daughter.

The writing style is good and I recommend this book for a quick, funny read. I give it 4 out of 5 stars.
